This form can be used for the following requests by clubs

The requester for this form must be an official within the club. Use this form for one player only.
Use this form to request:
– Player re-grades to a lower grade
– Open Rep Player regrade to 2nd grade
– Player’s doubling-up on a weekend to a lower grade
– Juniors requesting dispensation on age requirements
– Transfer a player to another team in the same grade
– Unqualified player to play finals

No Request Required

There may be no need to request for a player movement

Under the Club and Player Regulations listed below, you do not need to request any change to the player’s current situation:
Regulation 16 – Juniors playing in the senior competitions
Regulation 18 – Dispensation Procedure
Regulation 19 – Re-grading and ‘Doubling-Up’ of players
Regulation 19.10 – Open Representative Player
Regulation 19.15 – Statistics for Re-Grade and Doubling-up
Regulation 20 – Interchange of Players Between Teams in the Same Grade

Re-Grade requests must be lodged no later than midnight on the Thursday prior to the commencement of the match.

You do not need the request if the following applies

Re-Grade Statistics – Regulation 19.15. If a player has not attained the below stats, they do not need a regrade.
Batter:
T20 – Min 50 runs and average above 17.0
Limited Overs – Min 100 runs and average above 17.0
Bowlers:
T20 – Min of 10 overs and average of under 17.0
Limited Overs – Min of 20 overs and min average of under 17.0
19.1 – No requirement to request a re-grade if the request is for the player to play in a grade above their current grade.
19.2 – The player does not need a re-grade if the player has played more than 3 matches in his current grade AND does not exceed the above stats.
19.2.1 Any player aged between 14 and 18 (junior player) does not need to request a re-grade. Juniors must be 15 to play 1st Grade.
19.5 – If a player has been granted a re-grade earlier in the season, they don’t need another re-grade unless they have surpassed the 19.15 stats.

Player Double-Up Requirement

Double-Up requests must be lodged no later than midnight on the Thursday prior to the commencement of the match.

You do not need to request a “double-Up” if the following applies

Statistics – Regulation 19.15. If a player has not attained the below stats, they do not need a double-up request.
Batter:
T20 – Min 50 runs and average above 17.0
Limited Overs – Min 100 runs and average above 17.0
Bowlers:
T20 – Min of 10 overs and average of under 17.0
Limited Overs – Min of 20 overs and min average of under 17.0
19.12 – Junior players may double-up without a need to generate a request.

Open Rep Player Re-Grade

Open Rep Player Re-Grade requests must be lodged no later than midnight on the Thursday prior to the commencement of the match.

Considerations when requesting an Open Rep Re-Grade

Any player who has been selected in higher Open Representative Cricket during the current season will not be eligible to be re-graded unless:
They are a junior between 15 and 18 years of age.
They are not performing in 1st Grade or
They are returning from a prolonged injury.
NOTE: They cannot play any lower than 2nd Grade.

Player Transfer

Transferring a player to another team in the same grade

Players can move between teams in the same grade until they have played 3 matches in one team. 
After this they must remain with one team.
See the Player Regulations item 20 for full details before filling in this form.
This form is only for clubs who need to move a player between teams where they have more than 1 team in the same grade.
It is not for moving a player to another club which has a team in the same grade. These players must be transferred to the new club in PlayHQ.
