Brief detail on the Over 50s Veterans Winter Competition

The 4-team Winter Over 50s Veterans 35 over competition will start on April 20. Matches will start at 1:00 p.m.
It will be played on every 2nd Saturday afternoon and will cater for Over 50 Men and Over 40 Ladies. 
Allowances will be made for players below these age requirements.
The 35-over matches will be played at Griffiths Park II and Walker Road Precinct.

If you do not belong to The Old Crocks or are not members of Barron River or Mulgrave, then you can choose the Wanderers - this is a team from those who didn't play last season OR ask to be assigned to a team.

CFN Over 40 Representative Team

Thank you for nominating to play in the CFN Over 40s competition between CFN and North Queensland Veterans. Please choose the details below outlining your playing abilities which will assist us in the team selection process.

The Over 40 competition is played in Townsville on the weekend of June 8 and 9 and in Cairns on the weekend of July 6 and 7. It will be a 45 over event on Saturday and a T20 on Sunday morning.

My usual BATTING position:

Top order (1 to 4)

Middle Order (5 to 8)

Lower Order (9 to 11)

I can bat in either the Top or Middle Orders.

Choose one that you feel you best suit. You can choose a maximum of 2 options.

My usual BOWLING style:

Fast/Medium Pace

Slow bowler (off spin)

Slow bowler (Leg spin)

I do not normally bowl at all.

Choose 1 which best describes your bowling.

My usual fielding position:

Wicketkeeper

Close in (Slips, gully, short leg etc.)

Inside the 30-yard circle

Outfield
